The Tafila Wind Farm is being developed by a consortium of Jordanian and International Companies (Jordan Wind Project Company PSC, "JWPC") with experience in the design, construction, and operation of conventional and renewable power facilities.
Further information on JWPC will be released at a later date.
JWPC’s aim is to establish a close communication with stakeholders, authorities and local residents during the lifetime of Tafila Wind Farm. Therefore JWPC decided to implement a grievance mechanism which enables external parties to address any complaints or grievances they may have and ensures that these are considered and, if required, resolved with corrective actions in a timely manner.
Any received grievance will be dealt with by JWPC in line with the following standard procedure:
- JWPC or an authority is notified of a complaint;
- Within 5 working days following this notification, JWPC contacts the complainant;
- The complaint will be investigated, and if found to be valid, counter-measures would then be negotiated between the complainant and JWPC;
- Such counter-measures shall be implemented as soon as practical.
To ensure a transparent process, the entire procedure and communication of each grievance is recorded by JWPC.
