The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Tafila Technical University organized a symposium on Al-Aqsa Mosque by Dr. Mohammed Al-Hazaima, Dean of Beit Al-Hikma in Al-Bayt University, which was under the patronage of the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Fawaz.
Dr. Al-Hazaimeh spoke about the importance of Jerusalem and the historical importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its ideological position on the Christian and Islamic religions. He also stressed the need to address the Zionist distortion that calls for falsifying the reality and refuting the Jewish claims for their historical right in the Holy City and confronting the dangers of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al Yassin, who chaired the symposium, referred to the role of the Hashemite Guardianship in preserving the Arab identity of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces throughout history in defending Palestine in general and Jerusalem in particular.
At the end of the event, which was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Al-Baraa Al-Rawashdeh and a number of the academic and administrative members and students.
