The Civil Engineering Department was founded in the academic year 2006/2007 after the urbanization and housing revolution witnessed by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Arab region in general.
This was accompanied by the increasing demand for the local, Arab and scientific labor markets. For distinguished and qualified engineers in this regard, graduates were provided with the theoretical, practical and professional information in all areas of civil engineering.
The department is looking forward to being a graduate of the civil engineering department able to assume the responsibility of designing buildings, roads, bridges, airports, ports, hospitals, factories, water and sewage facilities and water treatment plants, and creating and operating them with skill and excellence.
In addition, a graduate of civil engineering will be qualified to manage water resources and earthworks, study safety factors in traffic, and study and treat pollution factors.
