The College of Engineering was established on January 17, 2005 with three academic departments: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Natural Resources Engineering Department.
Both Civil Engineering Department and Communications, Electronics and Computer Engineering Department have been established later on 2006 and 2014, respectively. The College of Engineering has witnessed a noticeable expansion in terms of new engineering programs, number of students, and number of faculty members.
The currently offers the following bachelor programs in addition to two master programs in Electrical Power Engineering and Applied Mechanical Engineering:

The College of Engineering is committed to the excellence in education to graduate engineers with outstanding analytical skills. Our graduates had assumed leading roles in industry in Jordan and abroad. The faculty members come from diverse academic and industrial backgrounds and are committed to offering quality education to our students in a dynamic learning environment. The faculty members always strive to link the real world with classroom instructions to provide better achievements to students. Currently the number of faculty members is more than eighty in both Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree holders. The faculty members are engaged in a variety of engineering research and are well published in regional and international engineering journals. They have assumed leading roles in local, regional and international conferences.
The Faculty of Engineering is home for more than 3000 undergraduate students. In the meantime, TTU has granted scholarships to PhD candidates in all field of engineering to prestigious engineering institutions in Europe and the United States of America.
